My name is Amar and I'm raising money for Islamic Help and Street Child Africa as part of my World Cup Legends Challenge. Basically I am trying to get my collection of Adidas world cup matchballs (1970-2010) signed by world cup winners from each of world cups. So that's 11 matchballs, 11 legends! I've already got Maradona AND Pele!
So I'd like your help to raise money for two great charities that are close to me. Here's a little information about the charities.
Islamic Help
IH are based in the UK and do a lot of great stuff both here and abroad and the money raised here will be used to support their 'Smiles Better' campaign.
Smiles Better is a two pronged campaign that seeks to improve the lives of acid attack survivors and those born with unrepaired cleft lips and palates. Islamic Help partners with various organisations to provide life changing reconstructive surgery in a number of countries around the world. IH do amazing work and I've supported them a lot over the years.
Street Child Africa
SCA are based in the UK and do a lot of great stuff helping street children across Africa. I myself spent some time in Zambia back in 2008 coaching football to street children. The money raised from this page will be used to educate, supply shelter and train street children across Africa.
I've started off with a target of raising £1000 for each charity which I beleive is achievable with your help. Please show your support and dig deep for both these causes!
