We are raising money for 2 great charities in memory of Darren's father Peter Lewis Hart who sadly lost his long and bravely fought battle with cancer in May 2017 at the age of only 69.
Darren, Sarah, George, Oliver and Peter's wife June wanted to do something positive in Peter's memory.
Darren has roped in good friend Dan and they will be cycling from John O' Groats to Lands End in August of 2018. They will be taking the longer route using as many of the NCN cycle routes as possible and will undertake a mileage of approximately 1100 miles and will climb over 40,000 feet.
We are self funding the trip so that all of the money raised will go straight to the charities. We are not taking out any expenses.
The Loros Hospice gave Peter an amazing standard of care during his
last few weeks and also gave much needed support to June and Darren.
They continue to do this for many others on a daily basis and they continue to need as much help as possible to fund their amazing
facility.
The Cornwall Air Ambulance is another charity that we support as a family and as a team. It receives no government funding and helps thousands of people each year both locals and tourists. There is no doubt that lives are saved on a weekly if not daily basis because of this fantastic service and its dedicated team.
We appreciate every penny that is donated from the bottom of our hearts.
