We are the Surgical Scousers Society at the University of Liverpool.
We have decided to support the amazing charity, Freedom from Fistula.
An estimated 2 million women and girls suffer from obstetric fistula caused by prolonged labour and obstructed childbirth. Freedom from FIstula provides free fistula surgeries, maternal health care and support for the most vulnerable women and girls in Africa.
Our 2019 Snowdon Challenge will involve our team climbing Mount Snowdon wearing fake, weighted pregnancy bellies. Please support us in raising vital funds to help #fixfistula.
