Rethink Rebuild in partnership with Syria Relief is running and operating schools projects inside Syria in the most suffered areas where children have not attended schools for many years now affected by the war. One of these schools, Iqraa School at Al-Sahhara village in northern Syria, is generously established and funded by Manchester community in September 2014. The school has accommodated 379 pupils, aged 6 to 15, and 21 members of staff. All types of support is provided for these children which include education, psychological and medical support. We are approaching the second academic year now and we are putting our confidence in our brothers, sisters and friends across Manchester areas to raise the running cost of the next academic year which is £45000.
