To bring in the new year Rick Forster and Tom Colwell will be traversing the 3000km's up the west coast of India in a wholy ridiculous vehicle known as an auto-rickshaw, or a tuk tuk.
The whole journey will take two weeks. Two whole weeks of driving in a glroified ride on lawnmower which most people wouldn't want to spend more than 5 minutes in. Two weeks driving in some of the world's most dangerous roads, covered in dust and rattled to the bone; we'll fall beneth livestock in the vehicle heirachy.
But in the grand scheme of things, two weeks isn't much compared to someone with a condition which will last their life and directly affect them and their family, or to the indigenous peoples who live in areas where their way of live is threated by deforestation, often fueled by our consumer lifestyle.
We'll be looking to raise as much money as possible for Autism Together and Cool Earth so that we can directly impact the lives of people in our own community.
What we do ask if that we you donate to each page EQUALLY. This means that if you have five pounds to donate, put £2.50 to each page so that we can give each charity a matching amount.
