Between 22 July and 4 August 2016, the Extreme Cellists (Clare Wallace, James Rees and Jeremy Dawson) will be visiting and playing on all surviving piers in Great Britain - that's 58 piers in 14 days! As well as involving around 2500 miles of travel, and 58 performances on piers, they will also be giving three evening concerts as they travel around the country.
The challenge is in support of two charities: CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids), and Alzheimer's Society. There is a separate fundraising page for each, so if you would like to donate, simply choose the charity you would like to donate to from the list below.
You can get further information about the challenge, and follow their blog as they undertake the challenge, at www.extremecello.com.
Please do donate if you feel able to. If you are a UK taxpayer please Gift Aid your donation so that the Inland Revenue will add to your contribution at no cost to you. Many thanks for your support!
