Thank you for visiting our team fundraising page
The ‘charity abseil’ is to celebrate the completion of Elizabeth House located in the heart of Wembley. This new development is being built by Willmott Dixon Housing for Octavia Living. The development consists of 115 apartments over 12 floors.
Charlie Scherer, Chief Operating Officer of Willmott Dixon Housing and David Woods, Development Director of Octavia Living will abseil the Elizabeth House building as part of the completion celebrations.
The abseil will be done from the roof, measuring approximately 121ft high, free-fall down the leaning front facade of the building on Wembley High Road.
Obviously, we couldn't leave them to complete this challenge alone and have pulled a team of approximately 25 together from Willmott Dixon Housing, Octavia Living and LB of Brent (SupplyBrent).
Participants are:
Andrew Crouch, Anish Bhadranwala, Blake Thomas, Cassie Larham, Charlie Scherer, Chris Russell, Craig Hill, David Woods, Dipesh Pindoria, Eamon Somers, Hayden Wills, James Taylor, Jonathan Squires, Kate Candler, Lesleyanne Walsh, Lisa Frost, Lorraine Lane, Mark Gayfer, Matthew Turner, Peter Walton, Richard Hawes, Simran Dhiman-Phgura, Sinead Marie Prunty, Stephen Brian Skuse, Stephen Matthews, Rachel Morency, Ken D'Souza
We hope that you will support and encourage us by donating to one of our chosen charities. We have selected two very good charities and have given you the opportunity to select where you wish your donation to go by having two pages.
1. 'Octavia Foundation'
2. 'Help for Heroes'
Octavia Foundation - The Octavia Foundation is a local charity that works in west London supporting local people during times of personal difficulty or crisis; we are a local lifeline, occasionally the place of last resort or maybe just a guiding hand for those who need help whatever their circumstances might be.
Help for Heroes - "So many of our Servicemen and women have made the ultimate sacrifice; so many lives have been lost and so many changed forever by the wounds that they have suffered in the course of their duties. For these selfless people, it is after the guns have fallen silent, the din of battle quietened, that the real fight begins – a fight that may last for the rest of their lives."
