Virgin Money London Marathon 2016: #TeamCPLAromas
This year #TeamCPLAromas has a group of 8 would be highly trained athletes competing in the London Marathon with the aim of raising funds for our chosen charity CAFOD.
We have supported CAFOD’S work for 15 years by way of direct donations and by raising money through events such as the London Marathon.
CAFOD is committed to helping the poorest of the poor and those without a voice.
Throughout 2015, we supported seven CAFOD projects in six countries around the world which include providing high quality HIV testing, counselling and care in Malawi, installing green and solar energy in rural areas- Kenya, supporting Arab women to work and secure their rights – Israel, helping adolescent girls to be free from commercial sexual exploitation –Nicaragua, economic integration for women – Peru and protecting natural resources, reducing risk of disasters and increasing income for indigenous people – Cambodia.
