Martin and his wife Sam decorate their house in Swinton, Manchester with Halloween decorations each year to raise money for charity. It has affectionately become known as 'The Halloween House' by the local community.
In the last 12 months everyone behind The Halloween House were very saddened at the loss of two of The Halloween House’s much loved friends. When Martin and Sam were considering which charity to fundraise for this year it seemed only fitting to fundraise in memory of two people that have always supported The Halloween House and are very dearly missed.
And that is why this year the Halloween House the funds raised will be split between
*** St Anns Hospice in memory of June Kiely ****
and
**** St Davids Hospice in Llandudno in memory of Marie Linda Pearson****
Both places were a great support to our friends and their families in their final journey in life. The compassion, care and love shown by all those that worked at each hospice was astounding and we hope that the money raised will help them provide this care to more people.
Every SINGLE penny raised via the Just Giving page and donated at the house itself will go to our nominated charities. None of it is used to pay the electric bills, cleaning bills, cost of repairing props, cost of purchasing new props etc. The cost of running the house is paid for by Martin and Sam themselves, and some local residents and businesses have donated props/sweets to help make The Halloween House as entertaining as possible for which we are extremely grateful.

Please choose which charity you would like to donate to and donate via that page. We would like to keep to donations to each charity as equal as possible, however we understand that you may wish to donate to one of our charities for personal reason. We will varying the offline donations between the two charities to keep the donations equal so don't worry too much about that ****
