Jess and Sarah have joined forces to raise money for an amazing charity, Dress for Success.
Their vision is to empower women to achieve economic independence. The primary way they do this is by giving unemployed women the skills and attire they need to sail through job interviews. And one in every two women they help get the job.
We both heard of Dress for Success whilst attending women in leadership programs in Sydney, run by Xplore for Success, a company we 100% recommend by the way - their courses are life-changing! Check out www.xplore.net.au.
Jess decided to take her relationship with Dress for Success to the next level, when earlier this year she joined the London branch's Board of Trustees! Woo-hoo - go Jess!
So, here we are about to run 10km around London to raise money for a fabulous, women-empowering charity.
And yes, we have both run marathons before, but that was many, MANY years ago, and Sarah for one is now a VERY rusty runner, only managing to struggle through 5km with Jess on Friday mornings when there's a promise of a breakfast and a natter at the end of it!
