Starting 5 May 2019 Neil Welsh and Sam Dobson are riding 800 miles, unsupported, from Dijon (capital of the Burgundy region) to Burnley. We are supporting two charities that have significant meaning to both of us. Roadpeace have supported Sam's wife and family after the tragic loss of Claire's brother David Bailey in a road traffic accident earlier this year. Mind is a mental health charity that provides support and information for those suffering with mental health issues, a subject close to both our hearts. We would like to share donations equally between the charities please as they are both important to us. This is going to be a very tough week of cycling so please give generously. We will send updates on our progress as we go. Wish us luck – we’re keen as mustard to get started!
