Pink Pong was established in 2010 and we have been overwhelmed by the support it has received. It became apparent quickly that Cancer in general has a massive impact on so many of our lives.
According to the British Market Research Bureau, 2013 2.4 million people participate in Table Tennis within the UK. 1 in 3 people according to Cancer Research are confronted with cancer in their lifetime. Over 800,000 table tennis participants could be affected in their lifetime and more involved with through teammates, family and friends.
“Pink Pong” aims to “Make a difference on and off the table” through (predominantly) table tennis events around the UK and eventually worldwide. Raising money and awareness of All Cancers and in the process attracting new members to the world of table tennis. We've joined together with CRUK to raise money for Cancer Research And we hope you will be inspired to join us.
If you can’t play Table Tennis, then why not do a sponsored silence, join in a golf event, run a marathon, climb a mountain or even jump out of a plane??? You too can use this page to help in the BIG fight against Cancer by joining our TEAM!
