ChildLine is the UK's free, 24-hour helpline for children in distress or danger. The helpline is operated by volunteer counsellors who give up 3.5 hours a week to talk to children and young people. Counsellors talk to over three thousand children and young people per day. Some of these children are in life threatening situations experiencing physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. For some children and young people Childline is their last resort we are aware from feedback from emergency services that volunteers have saved the lives of children and young people in life threatening situations. Childline is here to help and support children and young people but with your support we would not be able to. Please give as much as you can to this amazing service.
