We are a group of 11 students from around the county that have come together to form the group Mi7 and given up 4 weeks of our Summer holiday to help out local charity LOROS by promoting their upcoming sponsored walk, Walk on the Wildside, as part of our NCS (National Citizen Service) Programme.
We were all truly touched by the care and service that LOROS provides after seeing first hand the work they do whilst visiting the hospice. Although our aim is to get as many people signed up to do Walk on the Wildside with us, we have decided to participate in the walk ourselves in a bid to raise as much sponsorship money as possible.
Together we hope that Summer 2013 can be remembered as the time we actually made a difference within our local community - a legacy we thrive to achieve.
