Hi all! We are planning to cycle from London to Barcelona from the 1st of August, and we plan to raise a hell of a lot of money for cancer charities doing so. We are cycling the length of France in memory of our dear friend Sam 'Frenchie' Cooper, who unfortunately lost his short battle with testicular cancer in February 2014.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could split your donations evenly between our three charities:
The first charity that we are raising money for is Macmillan Cancer Support, who were instrumental in providing care for Sam in his last few days. This is our way of saying thank you to you guys; you do an awesome job!
The second charity that we are raising funds for is Cancer Research UK. They have recently announced that in the UK just as many people survive cancer as die from cancer; and we want to help them push those numbers up.
The third charity is Ballboys; who raise awareness and educate the population (not just the guys) on the facts, figures and issues of testicular cancer and to provide easy access to resources, information and hands-on support to anyone who is concerned about or directly affected by testicular cancer.
Thank you for your time and your support.
-Sean Burnard, Henry Coughlan, and Alastair Lord.
P.S. If we raise enough money, we may even continue this trip beyond Barcelona! ;)
