We wanted a challenge that everyone could attempt and so we came up with the idea of getting as many members of staff to walk a marathon as possible. We'll set off from the school gates early on the morning of Saturday 29th June, and aim to be crossing the finish line in Hurley before last orders that evening. Hopefully it won't take that long!
Some of us have never walked further than from KS1 to the staff room and back but the training has started in earnest and new trainers are being broken in.
Our route will take us across the racecourse, through the Great Park and down into Windsor where we cross the river into Eton and onto the Thames Path. 18 or so miles later we should be in Hurley.
