How it ended
We sprinted across the line early on Saturday 12th of May. Still friends, still able to move our limbs, in Matt's case 5lb heavier!
The adventure took in some of the most amazing vistas you could find, the UK is one beautiful country with a little bit of sunshine. Saying that the North of Scotland is about as bleak as it can get when it is 1degree with gale force winds, hail, sleat, snow and rain (thank-you for that treat on our last day!).
Thank-you so much for all of your support, we are genuinely amazed about how much money we have raised. We will try and contact you all at some point with an update on where the money has been used and to show you the difference it has made to this fantastic charity.
Until the next adventure...
How it begun...
Not sure how this started, pub bravado? A throwaway comment? Mid-life crisis? Anyway here we are and May 1st is looming. That is the date we set off on a 1060 mile journey from the very South West point of the UK to the most Northerly point of our country. The furthest ride you can do in our fair country.
There will be blisters, there will be aches, there will hopefully be fair weather and a few smiles along the way.
We hope to keep you all up to date on Twitter @n2b2010 if you fancy a laugh at our expense.
So keep in touch, keep enjoying our pain and keep giving. It means a lot to us as we go but it means even more to our charities.
