Fortrus Ltd will be working in partnership with Bloodwise to help raise money in the fight against blood cancer.
As part of our fundraising efforts,'Team Fortrus' will be taking part in the Bloodwise London to Paris ride in September, we will also be raising money by participating in the Bloodwise Blenheim Triathlon in June and Ride London in July.
Please show your support by helping Fortrus to raise awareness in the fight against blood cancers, we will be holding various fund raising activities over the coming months to raise money and the link to our JustGiving page is outlined below.
We are hoping to raise £5,000 - please help us to reach our target and make a difference to help beat blood cancers.
About the event:
London | Paris is a four day endurance ride, covering the varied landscapes of Kent and northern France. It's one of the only London to Paris rides to offer rolling road closures throughout France. It's the only ride where all the money raised goes directly towards improving the lives of blood cancer patients.
Team Fortrus will ride as part of a peloton with time trial and timed hill climb sections, testing our ability to find out where we rank against the rest of the riders: it's the nearest thing to being in a professional road race. We'll ride to the Arc De Triomphe alongside a team of new found friends, under closed road conditions, cheered on by Bloodwise support crew and locals.
With every mile we cycle, together we’re closer to completing the ultimate challenge – beating blood cancer. Bloodwise ask all riders to raise at least £1,000 to fund life-saving blood cancer research and vital patient support for families affected by blood cancer. Team Fortrus have set a target of £50,000, so please dig deep and help us to achieve this.
