Thanks for visiting Charlie's Big Adventure fundraising page.
As many of you know our little Charlie set out on a big adventure this week with a train trip to London to see the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Royal London Hospital. Charlie was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma which is a childhood eye cancer. The doctors and nurses in London and in Glasgow have been fantastic and Andy and I are certain that they will take such good care of our wee star over the coming weeks and months to get him better. It turns out Charlie has very poor sight in his left eye and yet he's running around, smiling away as always and keeping us on our toes!
Our friends and family have been a fantastic support and many of you have asked if there is anything you can do to help. Charlie will be supported by CHECT (Childhood Eye Cancer Trust), The Sick Children's Trust - Stevenson House, where we will stay when we go to see the specialist team in London and Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity where he will go for his Chemotherapy. All are registered charities and it would be wonderful if we were able to help them to help our wee star. We would hugely appreciate if you were able to donate some pennies. Please be assured that Charlie will be giving you a clappa clappa handies for your pennies! š lots of love Team Charlie xxx
