Tesco Bank 2015 Desk Calendar Competition

Welcome to the Tescobank 2015 Desk Calendar Competition Just Giving page in support of our local charity partners: Aberlour[1], Place2Be[2] and the Tiny Lives[3]. 

 

Overview

The theme of the competition is ‘The place where I live...’ and we’re looking for Tesco colleagues across our sites to show us what is special about where they live and its surrounding area.  To enter the competition, you should submit photographs in landscape format which you have taken and which fit the theme to win the opportunity of your image being featured in Tesco Bank’s Charity Calendar for 2015. This is being produced for our local charity partners across Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle.

 

How does it work? All images submitted must be shot in landscape format. There is no limit to the number of images you can submit, but we suggest a £1 donation for each photo is submitted. When making your donation, please ensure you leave a message that includes your name and site location (so that we can identify you if you win).  The judging process will involve Tesco Bank colleagues voting on the photos which have been uploaded to Flickr, to help produce a shortlist.  You can view the Flickr page from a personal device here: https://www.flickr.com/groups/tbcharitycalendarcomp/. That shortlist will then be judged by a panel of 6 including 3 senior representatives from Glasgow, Newcastle and Edinburgh sites together with 3 representatives from each of our chosen Charity partners. The 13 chosen will then be included in the Tesco Bank Desktop Calendar 2015.

 

How does this raise funds? In two ways; firstly if you wish to make a donation to the charity of £1 for each image, this will be passed directly to the charity partner that is featured on that site.  Secondly, through the sale of the calendars to colleagues at each Tesco Bank site with the support of our Community Forums. All proceeds made from selling the calendars, after deducting any additional costs, will be donated (in equal proportions, of one third each) to our three charity partners – Aberlour, Place2Be and the Tiny Lives Trust.

There is no limit to the number of images you can submit and there is a suggested donation of £1 for each photo that is submitted. Please note images may need to be digitally altered for printing purposes but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum.

 

The Small Print

Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrant. However, by submitting an image and accepting these terms and conditions, each entrant grants a non-exclusive, royalty free, worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to feature any or all of their submitted images within the Tesco Bank Desktop Calendar 2015, and also in any [Tesco Bank] publications, websites and/or in any promotional material connected to this competition.  You agree to execute any documentation which is required at any future stage to perfect and evidence the licence described in this condition.  We will endeavour to include your name alongside the photo when it is printed in the calendar.
