BIT OF AN UPDATE: After an overwhelming effort from everyone who has already donated, and an email of thanks from Brain Tumour Research, we're now looking to raise £2,740 to sponsor a day of research at the dedicated brain tumour research centre at the University of Portsmouth. This will be recognised by a commemorative plaque, in memory of Pat.
We've already raised a fantastic total, and if we can hit our target, it would be an amazing group effort from everyone - and greatly appreciated.
----------------------------
We're raising money for Brain Tumour Research in memory of our friend, Pat Ebbutt, who recently died from a brain tumour in October after a five year illness.
We wanted to join together to raise a huge total and are really pushing ourselves, all participating in our first Triathlon (1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run), to raise money for a charity supported by Pat.
For those that did know Pat, you'll know what an instantly likeable, incredibly witty and extremely happy and positive person he was, we all really miss him.
If you didn’t know Pat, please read about him here:

If you know us all, we really don’t mind who you make your donation to, no matter how small, it is greatly appreciated.
Perhaps just pick your favourite?!
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 28%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
Thank you,
Andy, Chris, Tom and Hugh.
