In 2012 Neil Humphrey, Rob Fisher, Neil Cuthbertson and Jamie Davis set out to cycle Lands End to John O'Groats (covering c1000 miles) in 9 days to raise money for Macmillan after one of their friends was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
The team raised £34,000 (£37,000 if you include the others that rode with us) with the help of friends, family and corporate sponsors, and even made it onto the opening credits for the inaugural Ride London event when it was aired on the BBC.
Now 10 years on, the team is looking to reverse the route and continue their fundraising push.
On Friday 30th September 2022 they will set off from John O'Groats hopefully completing the ride on Saturday 8th October. Any donations would be hugely appreciated!
This year we will continue to support the great work Macmillan do to assist people living with cancer and we will also support Off the Record, a local charity that offer free and confidential counselling to young adults in South London.
So please dig deep and help us smash that team target!
