Story

The challenge is to summit all three peaks in 12 hours, so that The Steve Prescott Foundation can continue supporting The Christie and The Rugby League Benevolent Fund as well as continuing the great man Steve Prescott’s legacy.

The first summit in the early morning will see us ascend 2,227 feet to the top of Pen-y-ghent, but there will be no hanging around, as we trek on through to midday and the second summit, Whernside, the highest peak at 2,415 feet. Finally the afternoon will go on to the third and final summit, up 2,372 feet to the top of Ingleborough, with awe-inspiring views across the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park.

About the charity

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.
