8 years ago this year I was told I would need a bone marrow transplant. Luckily, thanks to Anthony Nolan, a match was found and I could start the recovery process. Since then we’ve been looking to give back to this charity that means so much to myself and my family. So, we decided 8 years on we’d tackle 8 events together with any friends and family that would like to join. We want to celebrate Anthony Nolan’s 50th anniversary and the amazing work they do and have done for myself and many others. The events we’re hoping to complete this year are;

Grasmere to Keswick hike✅

Race to the stone (30 mile ultra)✅

5km park run

The great north run

Newcastle 25km route

Morpeth to Newcastle half marathon

The Boxing Day day dip
