Financial assistance empowers households with the choice in how to meet their essential needs, including food, medicines, clothes, rent and bills. It maintains their dignity and honour, which is inscribed into their DNA.

The money is spent with local traders and businesses and helped stimulate the local economy and ensure the impact of the aid benefitted the local community as well as individual households.

The need in Gaza is immense. After decades of conflict and blockade, the people of Gaza are in deep crisis. 1.1 million people in Gaza live in poverty and 85% of families depend on aid to survive.
