Story

Preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research, and supporting affected families.

Last year we lost our beautiful friend Darcey due to SADS when she was only 16. I will be running the London Landmark Half Marathon on the 6th of April which will be the day before Darcey’s 2 year anniversary.

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
