Story

We’re walking again this year to raise money for Dementia UK. Since last year we now walk twice a week and on our long Friday walks we can manage 10 miles. A huge achievement and we feel very proud. So we’re aiming for 31 plus miles. We know times are tough so if you can spare just a little it all helps towards the bigger goal……..removing Dementia from our lives and the effects it has on families. Thank you 🙏🙏😘😘

We are Elizabeth Cullis Michael Powell (Maggie) Anne Leaver Libby Davis Aag Aag (Aurora

Update: Aurora and Maggie have completed their miles but will carry on for the month. Libby is on 25 miles, Beth and Anne are nearly there too. 🚶‍♀️🧘‍♀️

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimers disease. They help people with dementia stay independent for longer, and support the people caring for them so they have the strength to cope with the bad days, and the energy to enjoy the good days. They have the time to listen and the knowledge to solve problems, helping families take back control when they are struggling.
