Were asking supporters to stride out under the stars for our biggest annual fundraiser. All money raised will go directly to our specialist palliative and end-of-life care for local patients and their families.

Story

A group of Yr 2 pupils from St Mary Magdalen's RC primary school, along with their parents, will be taking part in The St Catherine's Hospice Moonlight and Memories Walk 2023 on Saturday 3rd June.

Some of the children already have experience of the Hospice with friends or family that have attended and they want to have some fun (and a late night!), whilst helping to do their bit to raise vital funds for the Hospice.

St Catherine’s cares for patients and families across Chorley, Preston and South Ribble who are affected by life-shortening conditions like cancer, motor neurone disease and heart failure.

Their specialised care helps people enjoy the best possible quality of life, to the end of life. They work with patients and their loved ones at the hospice and in their own homes to help them achieve what is important to them in the time they have.

'St Catherine’s Hospice is a charity which belongs to the community. We can only care for those who need us because of the generosity and trust we are shown by supporters near and far. We value every contribution for the difference it makes.'

So please help the squad out, no matter how big or small. The children will be super grateful and they might even walk the 8 miles!

Thank you xx
