Story

Your donation will support the thousands of children and adults with autism, intellectual disabilities or behavioral health challenges that the Barber National Institute serves throughout Pennsylvania.

These supports are vital to people who experience these challenges! I am a special education teacher and I have a daughter who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), so this cause is close to my heart! The struggle parents have to go through to help their children is absurd, but the Barber Institute makes it easier.

I signed up for this run because I wanted to prove something to myself, but I’m fundraising because I want everyone to know the importance of institutes like the Barber Institute and the work they do. They help to make people’s lives easier by making the process easier. PLEASE help me to support this cause by donating any amount you can. My goal is to reach at least $500 by August 30, 2024, so any and all donations are helpful. Thank you very much!
