Story
This year, one of the BIG fundraising events for Children in Need is Paddy McGuinness undertaking an Ultra Endurance Cycle Challenge of 300 miles. But it’s not just about Paddy – it’s also about YOU! And HOW WILL YOU ROLL?
On Friday 15th November at 10.30am, Childminding in Great Oakley is hosting a Children in Need event, with the support of Wicksteed Park. We are hoping that childminders with their small friends, Mummies and Daddies and grandparents with their little ones, would join us in raising money for Children in Need by taking part in a sponsored walk around Wicksteed Park’s beautiful lake.
As the theme suggests, we are looking to see as many little ones with their prams, buggies, toy buggies, ride-ons, scooters, as possible and do a circuit or two of the lake to raise funds for Children in Need.
Wicksteed Park are supporting this event by offering free parking to anyone who signs up to our fundraising team and takes part on the Friday 15th November ONLY, raising money for this great cause. Why not donate what would have been the parking charge to Children in Need to get your own teams fundraising off to a great start? Say £5 maybe…
A group Just Giving page has been set up to join us and sponsorship forms are also available to download to help our smaller friends raise money from friends and family.
Of course, if you choose to do something similar on a different day, please join our team, but the offer of free parking from Wicksteed Park is only valid on the Friday.
