Story

We’re raising money for Pilgrims Hospices by taking on the Pilgrims Way Challenge on Saturday 19th June 2021!

Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page and donating to help Pilgrims deliver skilled and compassionate end-of-life care, free of charge.

Each year Pilgrims Hospices provide skilled and compassionate care for more than 2,500 people right across east Kent. With around 80% of running costs needing to be raised through voluntary contributions, with every single step, you’ll be making an incredible difference to the lives of our patients and their families.

£100 could pay for 4 hours of nursing care for someone living with a life-limiting illness; making them comfortable, bringing pain under control and enabling them to live well until the end of life.

On a personal level the Pilgrims Hospice provided end of life care for my two grandfather’s; Alex Hossick and Malcolm Skinner. As well as the first class compassionate care they received, being there allowed them to maintain their dignity and pride during their final days.

Your support is appreciated and so important, thank you.
