Story

Westfield Christmas Lights was started back in December 1998 when Mr& Mrs Munday and Mr& Mrs Tomsett put some lights up on their house's.

This was then followed by a few neighbours and over the years this has grown and grown into a fantastic display of lights in the whole village.

The light display starts from the 1st of December each year through to New Year’s Day and is from 18.00-21.00 every night in Westfield Village for everyone to enjoy a spectacular display of Christmas lights. Experience the most festive village in the whole of Sussex! To date Westfield's annual light display has raised an incredible £116,163.40!! Since 2005 for Local Charities including St Michaels Hospice Hastings, Veterans Growth in our village of Westfield and Charity for Kids Hastings.

A Top honour has been awarded for our President in the Kings 2023 Birthday Honours list Ken Munday has been awarded a British Empire Medal for Services to Charity and to the community in Westfield East Sussex (Hastings, East Sussex) just 10 days before his 93rd Birthday.
