In October we are taking part in a fundraising event for Breast Cancer Awareness Month!!!!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an international health campaign that’s held every October. The month aims to promote screening and prevention of the disease, which affects 2.3 million women worldwide!!

We would LOVE as many teams/clubs as possible to get involved and either take part in one of our ideas or come up with your own fundraising idea !! When you come up with an idea please make sure you let us know and shout about it on your socials as much as possible, (Tagging West Devon Netball in it of course) or share it with Jamie who can shout about it for you !!

The more teams to get involved will mean the more money we will be able to donate to such a worthy cause.

Breast Cancer Now's wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people will wear it pink in their communities, schools or workplaces, to help make life-changing breast cancer research and support happen. Plymouth & District Netball family has many different events planned for the month of October and want to invite as many as possible to take part and raise much needed funds for such a wonderful cause.
