Yippee. In 2019 we painted the wall around the school. This time we are going to be painting classrooms, working in the community and providing much-needed provisions for isolated communities. There is so much need. Wellspring is a church, school, medical centre and community outreach programme. 5 out of the 6 of this team have been before. The team this time consists of Ben, Carolina, Clare, Jim, Joanne and Kim. In this area, families live off about £1 a day. They have one meal if lucky (generally of beans and rice). Many places don't have a sanitary system, running water or electricity. We get to go to these communities and bless them with clothes, medication, toys, underwear, shoes and food. Many people have never had a new item of clothing (including underwear). We are literally your hands and feet, and we are privileged to be able to return and work with the Wellspring team on painting the classrooms, which is very much needed. We do need to raise at least £2000 to pay for the paint and equipment, which we will then use on our trip.

We leave on 1st February 2023 for a 12 day trip. We have plenty of clothing and underwear (from our delayed 2020 trip).

We appreciate this is a difficult time of year financially, but the money does go to this cause. We will see the result of your donation within a few weeks (as quickly as we can paint the classrooms and distribute gifts to the communities). Eve - CEO Wellspring has projected managed it and costed out everything, so we will buy the paint out there along with the brushes, materials etc. Also, we can buy some provisions to take to the isolated communities - rice, flour etc. All donations go through Links International, a British-based charity. So, we would all be so grateful if you could donate whatever you can, and help us bless those who have so much need for basic things.
