Story

Welcome to my 62 Miles in October challenge profile page for Diabetes UK.

Did you know someone is diagnosed with diabetes approximately every two minutes? Since being recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, I have experienced first hand how it can make an impact on your day to day life activities. From dealing with hypos to consistently measuring sugar levels and carbohydrates, diabetes is a demanding health condition which comes with many factors effecting daily life. More than 5.6 million people are living with diabetes in the UK right now. Therefore, I am excited to share that myself and my family will be taking part in the ‘62 miles in October’ challenge to advocate for those who are bravely living with diabetes worldwide.

We hope that you will consider donating whatever you can to our page and thank you in advance 🙂
