We Support women Domestic Abuse Survivors to Help women thrive after domestic abuse

Story

Team Warrior Women are taking on the highest mountain in England Scafell Pike to raise money for survivors of domestic abuse via the fantastic charity Changing Pathways.

24 women will be climbing to it's summit of 978 metres on Saturday the 16th of September via the Corridor Route :-) and training is underway!

This is no mean feat but we do it to raise money for those who currently are in desperate need of help.

Take a moment to imagine how it must feel to be in fear of someone else - in fear for yourself, your children, your extended family and even your pets. To be in fear for your possessions, finances and reputation. To spend a good while in shock that this has happened to you when you perhaps never thought that it would and to find that no-one is able or willing to help you against this perpetrator. To feel your world become so small that some days it may feel impossible to continue.

There are millions of victims of domestic abuse worldwide who have having their lives destroyed by other humans and this just absolutely cannot continue. So we climb, we climb for those who are beaten, we climb for those who are physically abused, we climb for those who are emotionally abused (a subtle and vile form of mental torture), we climb so that they may climb, climb out of where they are and into better brighter days.

Please support us and help this fantastic charity continue with the work that they do which is so important to society. Thank you all so much. Jamie and Warrior Women. x
