We are participating in the Walk A Mile In My Shoes event to raise funds in honor of "WORLD HOMELESS DAY"
Please consider making a donation if you are able.
How Funds Raised Help Our Homeless:
- $10 = helps feed 4 people in need
- $25 = provides 2 nights of shelter for someone in need
- $50 = gives relief for 1 night to a Family of 3 (shelter & food)
- $100 = a shower and a hot meal help 27 people in need
- $250 = helps feed 115 people in need
An estimated 13,871 individuals and family members experienced homelessness at some point in 2019 in Southern Nevada. The purpose of World Homeless Day is to draw attention to unsheltered peoples needs locally and provide opportunities for the community to get involved in responding to homelessness.
For 50 years, the Las Vegas Rescue Mission has provided safe shelter, meals, long-term rehabilitation programs, counseling, and encouragement to help our neighbors escape homelessness forever. The need is constant and growing, so we need your help!
