Story
I'm taking part in the YMCA DownsLink Challenge and helping to tackle youth homelessness. Working for the YMCA over the last 6 months has shown me just how dedicated the organisation is to supporting young people from all walks of life and in all areas of their life.
So what do they do? YMCA DownsLink Group is a charity that works to prevent youth homelessness across Sussex and Surrey. Every night, they provide accommodation to more than 750 young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, as well as helping give them the skills they need to create a brighter, independent, future.
By sponsoring me to take part in the YMCA DownsLink Challenge you can make a difference:
£10 could buy an emergency overnight package for a young person in temporary accommodation
£20 could provide a homeless young person a bed for the night
£50 could provide a life skills training session
On behalf of the young people YMCA DLG supports, thank you!
