Story

This March, we're all walking 100k in our beautiful mums name - who sadly passed away from ovarian cancer last year 💜

Our mum, Jyoti, was an incredible woman who fought ovarian cancer four times before she tragically passed away last year. We miss her deeply every single day, are reminded of her all the time, and wish so much that she was still around.

Her life was dedicated to making sure everyone close to her was ok and because the symptoms of ovarian cancer are so vague, her diagnosis was seriously delayed.

Our mum was the strongest person we know, who honestly faced the battle of cancer with a smile everytime - every step we take will be a tribute to her strength and resilience.

By walking 100km in our mums name, we aim to support lifesaving research that could help prevent others from going through what she did.  Help us to honor our mum's memory and fight for a future where fewer families have to endure the pain of ovarian cancer.

Your support means the world to us and we're sure, to our mum as well.

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.
