Story

We are walking for Anna Harriman, a beloved daughter, granddaughter, wife, sister, niece, auntie, cousin and friend. Anna passed away in July 2022 suddenly at home from an undiagnosed blood clot in her lung. As it is National Thrombosis Week from the 1st-7th May 2023 we have decided to walk for Anna to fundraise for Thrombosis UK in order to raise awareness of blood clots and the impact they can have in the hope that other lives can be saved.
We shall be walking from Anna's memorial bench at Fareham Access Trail to Bonita's in Southsea, which was Anna's favourite place for a cheeky cocktail or two and we shall all be raising a glass for her at the end of the 10 mile walk!
It is hard to find positivity at such a dark time as we all miss Anna and her craziness, beauty and kindness so much but if one life can be saved by raising awareness of the symptoms of a blood clot then we can all take comfort that some good has come from something so tragic.
Please feel free to join the team and walk with us and have a day of love and laughter in memory of our dear Anna.
