This September will see a small group of Crown Green Bowlers embark on a once in a lifetime challenge to raise awareness, and vitally needed funds, to support research into Motor Neurone Disease. The challenge starts at the most southerly Crown Green Bowling Club in England, Stoke Prior BC in Bromsgrove, and will end 14 days and 14 Counties later at Fleetwood Bowling Club on the Fylde Coast – a distance of almost 250 miles!!! Each day’s walking will be followed by an evening fundraising event at a host Bowling Club, as the group navigate their way up and across England and Wales.
