Story
VISION is a charity Gig taking place on the 17th November 2022 at the O2 Academy Bristol. It will feature a line up of 5 performances, all from people who either work on the bar now or have worked there, most of which have studied at BIMM college.
The gig will also be in memory of a much loved staff member we sadly lost this year form this world. Becca Bolton studied at BIMM, supported all of our previous charity gigs, and was a valuable member of the bars team since 2017, she trained and supported many staff over the years and she is dearly missed.
Research has shown that people working in the music industry are more prone to mental health problems than the general population, with musicians being up to three times more likely to suffer from depression. So we wanted to do more than just talk about it by providing a platform for young people to perform here at the venue and bring everyone together in a safe space.
All profit from the gig including a raffle on the night will be split between 2 Local Mental Health charities OTR (Off The Record) and Mind Bristol. This fundraising page is in addition to the tickets purchased or for those unable to attend on the night. If you wish to attend the gig, you can purchase a ticket here by copy and paste this into your browser
