Version 1 Belfast will be taking part in the Belfast City Marathon on Sunday 30th April and we will be fund raising for local charity Air Ambulance NI.
You Run; We Fly! Join #TeamAANI on Sunday 30th April 2023 and challenge yourself to run, walk or relay your way to the finish line of Mash Direct Belfast City Marathon. With a variety of races to choose from, including the full 26.2 marathon race, 8-mile walk, Fun Run, Wheelchair Race or Team Relay.
By taking part in one of these events, we will be playing your part in saving lives, brains, and limbs. Air Ambulance NI, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS), provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the region and responds to seriously ill or injured patients, 12 hours a day, 7 days per week. AANI is a vital service for Northern Ireland, our helicopter can get to any location in Northern Ireland in approximately 25 minutes. The doctor and paramedic team bring prehospital emergency care across Northern Ireland that might just save your life, or that of your loved ones. We are very grateful for your support.

Air Ambulance NI, is a charity in Northern Ireland. They work in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS), to provide the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the region.
Serious or life-threatening situations can happen to anyone at any time and on average, every single day in Northern Ireland, two individual finds themselves in critical need of AANI.
The charity’s operational helicopter carries a crew compiling pilot, doctor, and paramedic, 365 days of the year operating for twelve hours every day. They attend some of the most traumatic medical incidents across the province and are dedicated to delivering the very best possible pre-hospital critical care, both at the scene and whilst transferring the patient to the most appropriate hospital for their specific injuries.
