Running for Our Lizzie....and others!

We are running 26.2 miles in the 2023 TCS London Marathon to support and raise awareness of the MS Society.

Why you may ask....

Early last year our beloved Lizzie O’Connell (PA Superstar!!) had some serious and very scary medical symptoms which led to a lengthy period off work.

Lizzie was eventually diagnosed with having MS (multiple sclerosis).

Lizzie and ourselves as her employer did not have a clue on what we should or even could do to best support her. This is where the MS Society stepped in and helped us all beyond measure!!!

We know there are other employees and family members that benefit from the MS Society, so the Vegner Group has challenged Adam and Rich to complete the London Marathon and raise funds for the MS Society to say thank you for their ongoing support!

What is MS?

MS is an unpredictable and incurable condition that affects people's nervous systems.

It can attack suddenly or progress steadily, bringing a range of symptoms which can include sight loss, fatigue and mobility problems. No-one with MS can be sure when or how it will affect them next. The MS Society fund vital research into the causes of MS and possible treatments. They provide a helpline service, answering the calls of those looking for advice and support. They believe that together, we are strong enough to stop MS.
