The URNU East Scotland Team will be taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon Hairy Haggis Team Relay on the 28th May 2023

We are a team of students from the University Royal Naval Unit - East Scotland that want to meet a physical challenge and raise money for our charity. There is a range of physical ability in the team, though none of us have a running background, so our targets for the marathon are personal improvements in each of our legs.

The Challenge

The team will take on one leg of the marathon each. Changing over at specified locations along the route. The 2023 Marathon starts at Potterrow, runs throughout the City of Edinburgh and finishes out in Musselburgh on the playing fields at Pinkies St Peters Primary School.

Leg 1: The Royal Leg (8.3 miles) - James

Leg 2: The Cock & Pan Leg 5.5 miles) - Anthony

Leg 3: The Gosford Leg (8 miles) - Sam

Leg 4: The Glory Leg (4.4 miles) - Isla
