We are a leading baby charity working to save babies' lives and support families

Story

We're Evan's parents Laura and Jarrod and his Aunty Emma. We're running again in the Royal Parks Half Marathon in Evan's memory to help raise money for the Lullaby Trust charity. A charity which helps to raise money towards SIDS research and education.

Evan was an incredibly loved and happy baby boy. Born on the 17th of February, 2019 at 9lbs, Evan was a big thriving baby with a big smile. His parents loved to sing and read to him, and take him for walks in the woods. His whole family were just so proud of him and had so many dreams for him.

Tragically Evan passed away from SIDS when he was only 6 weeks old. We hope that no other family ever has to go through something like this. We hope that in Evan's memory we are able to raise money and help to find a way to stop SIDS and help save other babies.

Earlier this year, our cousins in Australia participated in the Great Ocean Road half marathon and raised over $7,000 for SIDS research. We are incredibly grateful and inspired by their efforts and would like to continue this in the UK, helping others in Evan's memory.

All funds raised will be restricted to supporting future research by The Lullaby Trust. It is devastating how little is understood about SIDS, and it's only through research that we will progress.

For Evan, our baby boy and nephew. We miss and are so proud of you. You'll always be in our hearts.
