Story
UK Unit 3 WSJ - Tartan Tigers are taking part in Scotland's Kiltwalk 2022 The team is raising funds for the World Scout Jamboree in Korea 2023. The World Scout Jamboree is held once every 4 years and this camp is the 25th jamboree. It is the biggest gathering of people involved in Scouting, and develops international friendship, global awareness and promotes the UN sustainable development goals for climate change. The Tartan Tigers (UK Unit 3) is a group of 36 young people and 4 adults from across NE Scotland and the Highlands and Islands regions. We are part of the UK Contingent which is made up of 3,240 Scouts from across the UK. In Korea, we will join approximately 50,000 participants from all over the world and our fundraising will contribute to enabling participants from less affluent parts of the world to join in this amazing adventure. Every penny that we raise will be topped up by 50% thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation. Any donation you can spare will help to make this event more inclusive for young people from across the world. Thank you!
