41% live in poverty in Uganda & it is amongst the poorest nations in the world with 75% of the 48 million population living in rural areas. The Covid-19 pandemic has exacerbated the poverty in Uganda. Many live in straw roofed mud built homes which have no electricity, water or sanitation. At least 20 million people DO NOT have access to clean water with much of Uganda is open water & swampland, which is undrinkable. This gives rise to water borne diseases.
Whilst out in Uganda insh'Allah we will also be hoping to open Water Wells, provide community meals, sweets for children, clothes for Orphans & the Poor. We will visit Hope for Mankind's Orphanage in the Capital city, Kampala.
We were due to visit Uganda last October 2023 and had our flights & accomodation booked BUT due to the ebola outbreak we had to cancel!
Please donate generously as each penny will go to the stated cause with Hope for Mankind's 100% Donation Policy. THE MORE WE RAISE, THE MORE FOOD PARCELS WE CAN DISTRIBUTE TO ALLEVIATE THE SUFFERING OF THE POOR IN UGANDA.
