In April 2015, the Thames Valley Fire Control Service (TVFCS) was formed by merging the fire control rooms from Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire. This year, we are excited to celebrate our 10-year anniversary with a special event: "TVFCS connecting our counties, one step at a time."

On April 24th, 2025, our dedicated control staff will embark on a personal challenge to walk across all three counties in just two days. Starting from Aylesbury and making our way to Kidlington and then Calcot, we aim to raise awareness and funds for The Fire Fighters Charity.
