Story
In 2019 my son was diagnosed with a neuro-endocrine tumour in his pancreas. The tumour was successfully removed during a complex operation with no further treatment required. However, in 2021 further tumours were located in his liver. Luke underwent further surgery in January 2022, to have the tumours removed. His future treatment is still being discussed, but he's so strong and has such a fantastic support network around him, I really am in admiration of him.
These events change lives and the charities that have support me and my family over the last few years have been beyond amazing. It is therefore my lifelong challenge to repay to all those that have helped us.
Whilst we haven't actually used this particular charity, a friend, who's 12 year old daughter is also being treated for cancer has benefited from this wonderful charity. Therefore this one is for you Emily x
I will be joined by my sister, daughter and Luke himself, adopting new hairstyles (cuts and colours) for 2022! The date is still to be confirmed but we are hoping to do this during February 2022.
Thank you all in advance for your generosity and I look forward to sharing our photos with you in the next few weeks x
